Hi All,
I've created a new blog and moved to http://vintageroses1.blogspot.com
Come join me on updates on my stitching and what I've been up to!
My second semester has started again and I have lots to read and assignments to do, thus, little time for my stitching. But when I have some time, I'm slowly stitching the bengal tiger and its slowly taking shape!
I decided to start something new on Tuesday night, and as I was browsing through one of my CrossStitcher magazines, I came across an Audrey Hepburn chart and decided to do it. Here is the completed piece. It was a pleasure to stitch and perfect for beginners.
Project Name: Audrey Hepburn
Designer / Source: Cross Stitcher magazine, issue 190

Stitched for:
Date Started: 24 June 2008
Date Completed: 29 June 2008
Notes: Enjoyed stitching this piece and its also great for beginners.
I just completed the pink flowers trio last night. I decided to add some butterflies and yellow birds to the piece. I've backstitched all the butterflies in DMC's Jewel Effects purple threads and it really added *sparkle* to the completed piece! I'm now back to working on the 'Racing Stripes' project since I have about 2 weeks uni holidays before my second semester starts so I'm trying to get as much stitching done now as possible!

I hope I'm setting this livejournal up right. This journal is meant for my stitching works in progress as well as my completed works and I'll try to update this as much as I can. Bear with me as I'm still trying to figure out how to work this site!
I'm 24 years old and I'm from Singapore. I'm currently in my 3rd year majoring in Psychology at Monash University. I grew up in the Hunter Valley (Australia) for 12 years before moving back to Singapore in 2003. I have a boyfriend and we've been going out for 4 and a half years. I only picked up stitching around April/May 2007 so I am quite a new addict. In my spare time, I love to stitch, I love online shopping sprees and I love love love travelling.
